He popped the question at Sirao Peak!

It’s been a month since we got engaged!

I am happily dating Israel for a year now. We met at work pero mas nagkakilala kami ‘nung pumunta ako sa Cebu last 2015 and… the rest is history. We’re far different from each other. Madaldal ako, tahimik sya. Traveler ako, home buddy sya. I’m from Luzon and he’s from Mindanao. (and we met in Visayas. nice noh? charot)

Mula ‘nung maging kami, nag-enjoy narin siya mag-travel kaya ginagawa narin namin ‘to ng magkasama. Nag-camp kami at nag-spend ng New Year sa isang bundok. T’was a beautiful time. From the city, we arrived at the peak around 4pm. Nag-set up kami ng tent na malapit sa cliff so we can see the whole city. First time namin mag-camp, meron pang mga kulang sa mga dala namin pero not bad for first timers.

Viewing 3 cities (Mandaue, Lapu Lapu, Cebu) from above is like watching the stars. Sobrang liit lang nila tingnan, parang glitters. Natulog muna kami at gumising ng 11pm para manood ng fireworks.

We set up our cameras facing the beautiful cities. He popped up the question while we’re watching the fireworks. It was indeed a HAPPY New Year!

Mula bata ako, pangarap ko na talaga ang mag-travel and along with it is a person that I would spend the rest of my life with. Natatandaan ko na sinabi nya nung nagpropose sya na “sila yung mga witnesses ngayon. Bundok, fireworks at si God.” I can say na sobrang character nya yung proposal. Ayaw nya ng pressure ng audience, he loves intimate moment all the time. Sa sobrang iyak ko bes, napatagal akong sumagot ng YES. Akala daw nya mag-no-NO ako. haha! Anyway, I always love sharing this story kasi hinintay ko yung araw na yun. Someone who will be brave enough to ask me to marry him. Right now, we are planning our wedding that will happen next year 2018(ayoko maging bridezilla bes, so one year preparation para samin. haha!)

If you’re planning to go to Sirao Peak, here’s the travel guide.
